Our Read-A-Thon officially starts on Friday February 27 and runs through March 20. Students will get excited with a fun kick-off, whole-school meeting with local storyteller, Tony Toledo.

We will also be hosting family "community reading times" throughout the Read-A-Thon, where we are working on lining up guest readers. This is a fun way to get those minutes up! (Drop in, but not drop-off)

Mark your calendars:

• Saturday, February 28th - 9-11 AM Beverly Public Library, Sohier Room

• Thursday, March 12th - 4-7 at the Hannah Library

• Wednesday, March 18th - 4-7 at the Hannah Library

That week, will send home instructions on how to activate your reader's personal page. This is where you will be able to view and record their progress.

We've chosen Read-A-Thon because it will not take much of your time, gives your child a reason to read and helps in the development of stronger reading skills.

We hope EVERYONE participates! We will have fun challenges and prizes along the way.
