STEAM Night with Messy Makers

Join us for a STEAM Night with Messy Makers of Danvers! Cost of entry $15 per student.

What is Messy Makers?

A makerspace is designated space for making, learning, exploring and sharing. The space can have anything from arts and crafts supplies, to LEGOs, to a full-blown lab with 3D printers, sewing machines, and hand tools. No two makerspaces are exactly alike, nor should they be; a makerspace should be an unstructured opportunity to foster a child's imagination.

Our school makerspace will be a temporary area setup in the cafeteria and facilitated by Messy Makers Community.

On November 19, your student will have the opportunity to visit this open-ended project area to express themselves through their own discovery, creativity, and work.

Help us stock our makerspace full of wonderful supplies for the students to use to create. We welcome students to bring in the following items the week of November 16th for our supply drive:

  • Brown paper shopping bags

  • Shoe boxes or small package boxes

  • Paper towel rolls

  • Toilet paper rolls

  • Small wooden blocks or popsicle sticks

  • Foam pieces

  • Nuts and bolts - no rust or sharp points

  • Paper clips and clothespins

  • Washed Shells

  • Pinecones

  • Small plastic toys

  • Rubber bands

  • Pipe cleaners

  • Googly eyes

  • Marbles and gems

*Kindly note we cannot accept any food packaging or containers.
