Join us for a STEAM Night with Messy Makers of Danvers! Cost of entry $15 per student.
What is Messy Makers?
A makerspace is designated space for making, learning, exploring and sharing. The space can have anything from arts and crafts supplies, to LEGOs, to a full-blown lab with 3D printers, sewing machines, and hand tools. No two makerspaces are exactly alike, nor should they be; a makerspace should be an unstructured opportunity to foster a child's imagination.
Our school makerspace will be a temporary area setup in the cafeteria and facilitated by Messy Makers Community.
On November 19, your student will have the opportunity to visit this open-ended project area to express themselves through their own discovery, creativity, and work.
Help us stock our makerspace full of wonderful supplies for the students to use to create. We welcome students to bring in the following items the week of November 16th for our supply drive:
Brown paper shopping bags
Shoe boxes or small package boxes
Paper towel rolls
Toilet paper rolls
Small wooden blocks or popsicle sticks
Foam pieces
Nuts and bolts - no rust or sharp points
Paper clips and clothespins
Washed Shells
Pinecones
Small plastic toys
Rubber bands
Pipe cleaners
Googly eyes
Marbles and gems
*Kindly note we cannot accept any food packaging or containers.

Session 2 - 6:30 - 7:15
Session 3 - 7:30 - 8:15

As our 4th graders spend their last year at Hannah, the 4th Grade Committee works to make it special. Please come share your thoughts and ideas for what this year should look like.
Parents and caregivers of 4th Graders are invited to participate in the 4th Grade committee. The first meeting is Thursday, Nov. 13th at 7 PM (at Hannah)
We could especially use your help if you’ve done this before! Please email Hannah PTO ptohannahschool@gmail.com if you’d like to be involved but can’t make the meeting or would like a virtual link.
Join us for the November PTO Meeting!
Save the date for a fun family night!
Each year, our school’s PTO collects monetary donations and gift cards to quietly support families in need within our school community. Funds raised are used to purchase additional gift cards, which—along with donated cards—are distributed discreetly to those who could use a little extra help.
If you are able to donate a gift card (grocery stores, Walmart, Target, CVS, etc.), please deliver directly to the office to the attention of Dearna Krinsky (School Adjustment Councilor). Or if you can made ANY AMOUNT of monetary donation, please venmo @HannahPTO with the note “Giving Board.” These funds will be forwarded to purchase more gift cards.
We have found gift cards to be the best way for families that are identified within our community as needing extra help to be empowered to use donations how they most need it this holiday season.
All donations should be in by December 11th.
